Having a friendship with someone that you consider you BEST FRIEND, is something that Phoebe had planned for Mallory, when she watched as the other girls in their 7th grade class room made fun of her for being out of place and unusual. As the years go by Mallory's older brother, Ryland comes into the picture and Phoebe is finding herself becoming more and more interested in him and begins to think of him as a possible romantic relationship. All the while, a world exsits that involves the real truth about what fareies are and what they need in order to continue surviving. Phoebe is pulled into the struggle of what friendship, family, friends, and her extraordinary life is really about and the history behind it with an age old fantastical debt that needs to be repaid and she is the only one that hold the key to the end of it.

Hard to put down! Was drawn into the fantasy behind it as soon as I started reading the book! Emotional rollercoaster for all characters involved, made you feel for each and everyone of them! Excited to see if there will be anymore stories similiar to this fairy line of storytelling! Wonderful for adults as well!!

Magic in all four places also has different societies that posess powers we have only seen in our dreams. What began as the search for Farley's mother, turns into something other-worldly, that speaks to her about whom she really is, why she was placed on this earth, and that she herself has seen the "ending of days" but thinking that they were not visions, but psychotic episodes. A Prophecy has been delivered to her, her closest of friends, and the magically mysterious Daniel, whom has watched and protected Farley her enitre life. Wendy has now decided how she will rule over the Trylle Kingdom, with her husband, Tove, alongside her. Her mother, the Queen, has left her in charge of everything due to her continuing illness and her father, the King of their enemy, will do all things evil to try and gain control of his daughter and all the other troll societies. Wendy, must become wiser and more powerful than the community has ever seen of a Troll. I finished this book and still wished there was more to read! This book was amazing and so great to read! I was trapped in a Troll society that made my past beliefs of them all change into a new meaning and yearning to know more about each characters lives.

If only Jazzy, had not attended that party that night, then should would not have had to carry around such a heavy burden!! Young, talented with music, and beauitful from head to toe, her looks she inherited from her mother's good looks and her Black father's skin tone. In this story Jaz, spends her entire life raised by loving grandparents and battles living everyday in an almost entirely white neighborhood where racism tends to run a little high. I was very drawn to her charachters' in this book because of each individual person's struggle with everyday life.
