A wonderful treat of a read that teaches and explains all the fun parts of Halloween and the most important trick of all...sticking together! After visiting a haunted house big sister finds herself having lost her little sister after having a fun time at a party. When she discovers where her missing sister was, she realizes the importance of sticking together and how much family means to her. This was so cute and pefect to read for a nice little Halloween treat!

This was a really cute ryhming book that is good to help explain why going to bed at night by a certain time is important to young kids. It also explained what different construction machines were used for and the jobs they performed and what they were called. I think this was a wonderful book for reading to any young child, weather it is a boy or a girl!

My 4 year old daughter loves every form of dance invented and of course the storie that are about princesses. This story about a young girl who loves the dance and beauty of ballet is drawn into the classic tale of Swan Lake. While she dances alone on the stage her mind drifts off to the story of the princess who is under the spell of an evil sorceor who turns the princess into a swan, and can only be a princess by night. The only way the spell can be broken is if the prince professes his undying love to her! Almost tricked by the evil spell caster the prince almost lost his one true love and then the story is over, the princess falls in love and lives happily ever after with her prince and is once again turned into her true self. Told by ballet, the little girls find herself not only in love with the story but with the dance itself.

Bailey, spotted white dog who loves going to school explains the process to little school aged kids on how to go to bed early, and upon waking how to get dressed, groom themselves, brush their teeth, etc. I had fun reading this to my kids because both of them are in school and are very young, so this helped them understand the meaning behind why we have schedules and time limits for the things that we do when involved with school.

Read from October 18 to 23, 2011

A young man struggling with the loss of his brother. Seeing people and things that are not there, messing with his mind. All taking place on an island that is known for it's ability to attract tourists to come spend the summer and their money. Dealing with this pain has driven him to the brink of madness, a twister churning inside his soul, and a storm that blows his thoughts all over the place and cannot be calmed.

I had trouble in the beginning of this book, reading it was a little hard and then as I turned the pages and got more towards the middle of the book, it became better. A little slow in the first 10 chapters but as I got further in the book, the true excitment of the story unraveled itself.

Trapped in her own mind, consisting of it's own world that is different to the normal world around her, a young lady is forced to battle the demons running rampant inside her own head. Trying to exist in a public school setting and aviod her past violent behavior, suffering from a strange form of multiple personality disorder, she tries to battle her own mind that takes her to another person, another being..a vampire! The battle between both personality comes to an end like no other.

However, a little slow and a little hard to read and understand at times, this was still a good book.
