Nonstop!! I do not want to put this book down...kind of like the House of Night books....The bond of friendship proves how strong it should be when it is sincere...Cant wait to read the whole series!! Lots of gut-wrenching heartache and growing from every character in the book...

The book began a little slow in the beginning and then picked up the pace, however it was a little hard to understand at times.

A girl who has the same first name of another girl she once went to school with is shot killed after she mysteriously wonders the streets late at night dressed only in her pajamas and before this began acting "strangely" around her family members. Trying to keep herself hidden from having more than one friend and being recgonized by fellow class-mates, she hides herself in clothes too big for her body, making her curves invisable to the eye. After another classmate comments on a social website that the other "Emily" that was murdered was a sad loss of perfect beauty and that the world would have been a better place had it been the "ugly Emily" that was killed instead, she feels a change that takes place deep inside her and decides to take revenge on the boy who posted this comment. She finds a hidden power that surfaces and becomes a "vasper", a member of an elite force that is magical and fearful of discovery.

Me and my son read this book together. He was quick to pick up tha catch phrases and he loved the heavy machine equipment interrated into the story. I recommend this book for readers K-3rd grade and Pre-school as well. It was silly, funny and catchy words.

I wuld luv 2 b the librarian with her special powers of touch. knowing bout someone or something and being as strong willed as her character to live alone, is somewhat of a dream 2 me. the suspense on our problems with meth labs in our neighborhoods, towns, cities, and even beside our homes are exactly a true crime that needs a little magic to help fight against.

Switched A Trylle Novel By Amanda Hocking

Wendy was almost killed by whom she thought to be her mother when she was six years old. Eleven years later, she became drawn to a boy that always seemed to be watching her. Not after long from meeting him, he tells her the truth. She is a Princess from another world with powers that she cannot even begin to imagine. She leaves the family that she once knew and is thrust into another world, filled with magic and a Kingdom, that she is told she will one day rule over. This story changes everything I was taught as a child about Trolls, and the world that exists with them living in it. This book was a page turner that I could not put down, filled with romance, magic, and battle.

Shalini and her family are found moving from their homeland of India to America. She found herself lost and scared and somewhat shunned from her fellow High School classmates, while her sister finds a way to fit in and make friends easily. Her mother, did not approve of the move her husband forced her into and spent most of her time depressed and the family left terrified that she would never be herself ever again. Shalini, found herself making friends in the end and falling for a boy that reminded her of the God that she prays to, Krishna. But, her fiance, whom she had been engaged to since the age of 3, throws a surprise visit on her. This was a sad, but happy read that taught me about India and their way of life.
