If only Jazzy, had not attended that party that night, then should would not have had to carry around such a heavy burden!! Young, talented with music, and beauitful from head to toe, her looks she inherited from her mother's good looks and her Black father's skin tone. In this story Jaz, spends her entire life raised by loving grandparents and battles living everyday in an almost entirely white neighborhood where racism tends to run a little high. I was very drawn to her charachters' in this book because of each individual person's struggle with everyday life.

This story is filled with everything that I love to read about! Suspense, Loss, Love, Secrets, and Life Altering... Next door neighbors, since they were both born, Laurel and David, has a world and life changing event that send them into a whirl-wind of changes. She loses her parents and brother, while he loses his mother to a fatal car accident that leaves David's father sitting, unresponsive in a hospital. They both take their lives on paths, trying to piece together their lives after their tragedy.

This is a true-like and heartfelt story for anyone who has a heart and enjoys reading emotional novels. This was a great book that had me in tears and saying silent prayers of being thankful that I could relate to this type of emotions that people go threw after the loss of a loved one, but am happy that I still have others that mean a lot to me that I love and still have in my life. I love being able to discover new ways on dealing with the loss of loved ones in different ways.

Stephanie Plum has done it again! While tracking down all the bad guys and trying to make a little bit of money, just enough to pay the bills. Stephanie, is always getting herself into trouble and finding herself wanted, dead! This was a wonderful read, as is all the books belonging to this series. Who am I? What did I do last night? Where am I? Am I dead? These were the questions the young lady in this story was constantly repeating to herself. Dealing with the pain in her life by drinking so much alchol that she became numb to her emotions and was able to drown out the screaming inside her heard. Peace was what she was looking for, but could only find it in the bottom of a drink and then came the memory loss. This was a pretty good book that looked into the life of a young person who has a problem drowning their problems in a bottle. And it became such a habit to feel numb to the pain that it became her life and way of living and was the only thought that mattered, which is addiction.

NaTasha was used to living in the suburbs with her mother and her daily routine, aside from school, was ballet. In her community she was the only person with dark-colored skin and her best friend was as white as snow. Her grandmother, whom volunteered at a young teens shelter, offered her grand-daughter to come and spend the summer with her, living her recent life behind her. She chose to come and help at the youth center for girls and that is where she finally discovered who she really was. Where her roots came from and how to live the life of helping others reach their dreams and to also help find the answer of who she really is. I loved this book based on the fact of how you live your life doesnt always show who you really are down deep inside.
